Formed in 2004 after the demise of ”Sognametal” legends Windir.
Vreid have released 5 albums & 1 DVD. Their latest album ”V”
received fantastic acclaim - 6/6 in Scream Magazine, 5/6 in Norwegian national newspapers VG & Dagbladet, and 9/10 in US main metal mag Decibel to name a few. ”V” was also nominated to the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann) for best Norwegian metal album in 2011.

I've been a fan of vreid, for many albums and lifehunger (imo) is their most alluring. I definitely wasn't expecting to hear a song like, "hello darkness" on the album; it's the track that sold me on the album actually, and let's not forget the artwork! Very appealing and imaginative and definitely helps put the album into perspective. cheers!!! 🍻

One day I came across this title on YouTube and it intrigued me. The nostalgy hit me so much that I went back on IRC in 2019. Thanks to that, I met my girlfriend after being single for 15 years, and moved to a new town 6 hours away from me. All of that because of a click on that song. Music has the power to change people's life and this track is my personal proof of that fact.
